Bahco manufactures a range of holesaws and arbors for professional use; they set the standard in precision, quality, durability, and versatility. The quality of a holesaw is defined by the choice of material used in its manufacture, its design, the tooth profile, and the construction of the arbor. Whilst they may look alike, a quick test will reveal the difference in performance. Examples of professional grade holesaws includes the Bahco Sandflex®, their Carbide tipped holesaws, and the Bahco Multi Construction range.
Bahco’s Sandflex ® Bi Metal holesaw sets contain the most popular sizes for the engineering, water, sanitation, HVAC and electrical installation industries. Durability and performance is the hallmark of this product. Sandflex ® Bi-metal holesaws have a 4/6 tooth pitch, and by varying the distance between the teeth a smoother cut is achieved with less vibration. The large teeth on these holesaws cut fast making material removal much easier. New production methods such as the grinding of teeth for more precise tooth geometry ensures that professionals globally appreciate the Sandflex® bimetal range.
Bahco Carbide holesaws have carbide tipped teeth. They are designed to produce clear, neat holes in hard and abrasive materials such as light concrete, brick, tile, laminated board, re enforced plastics and plywood. With a 4 TPI regular tooth pitch and a 5 degree positive cutting angle, resulting in excellent cutting performance in all recommended materials.
The newest holesaw offering from Bahco is the Multi Construction range. This range is easily identifiable by its black low friction coating. They are perfect for making holes in wood, brick, and lightweight concrete. The Multi Construction range has an extended cutting depth of 71 mm which allows the user to cut through differing compositions of materials. The precision ground carbide tips and low friction coating means that less pressure is required to get the job done. The gullets have a special wide design to remove chips easily during the cutting process and they combined with the low-friction coating to allow faster cutting. The Multi Construction range is complimented perfectly with Bahco’s Quick Eject arbor.
Bahco’s Multi Construction multipurpose holesaws and the Quick-Eject arbor system form together a tool that enables building and construction professionals a higher performance and increased efficiency. The Quick Eject arbor offers the user a time saving feature by releasing the core from the holesaw in one simple fast operation without burning the fingertips. It offers a stable drilling performance that eliminates wobbles, and is great for use in demanding environments.
The Multi Construction holesaw range from 19mm up to 159mm in diameter. There are two versions of Quick-Eject arbors; one for sizes up to 30mm and one for sizes starting from 32mm; the arbor system is also available for use with Bahco Bi-metal holesaws. They come with a solid round carbide tipped drill for multipurpose use, and there is no need to change the drill between applications. Bahco’s range of Quick – Eject arbors are the perfect complement for the Bahco Multi Construction holesaw range.
