Bahco offers a broad range of sockets, socket sets, ratchets, and accessories that cater to the needs of the Tradie. Included is the S – Line range of socket sets, the big daddies of this range being the S106 & S87+ 7 socket sets. This range is tailor made for the demanding user. Each set is designed to make the job safer and more comfortable. The socket sets are stored in lightweight, handy heavy duty cases. The cases are made out of High Density Polythene , they are shockproof at both high and low temperature, and are also equipped with a new strong, easy to open metal locking system featuring a robust hinge construction. Thought has gone into this case with the inclusion of a removable tool rack with up to 13 combination spanners and a 3 section plastic box with a closable lid.

 

Whilst a solid case will ensure that your tools are well protected, it’s what’s inside that makes the difference. Included in the S106 are Flex Head Spanners with a friction adjustable screw joint, Socket Drivers for the most commonly used screw heads, and four sizes of High Impact Sockets for use with power tools. All ratchets feature two component handles and 60 teeth / 6 degree action. They offer reversible right/left direction and feature a spring loaded ball bearing head along with a quick release button for the safe removing of a socket, and finally, a wide assortment of 6 point sockets with a dynamic drive profile for secure handling of nuts and bolt heads.

 

The S – Line range are available in different sizes to fulfil the varying needs of today’s Tradie. The range includes small basic sets as well as larger combined socket and spanner sets. All tools are made of Chrome – Vanadium steel and follow the ISO/DIN standards for strength and tolerance. The strong extension bars, hardened bits, and socket drivers suit a variety of tasks. The 6 point sockets are designed with a hole for secure locking onto the ratchet head. Bahco socket sets offer the Tradie the right tool for the tough jobs, making the job easier.

 

In co-operation with world leading ergonomic specialists, Bahco has developed a special range of ERGO™ ratchets for the most demanding jobs. They feature a comfortable, non slip 2 component handle, a patented direction changing mechanism, and a clever hanging hole for easy storage. These ratchets exceed the torque requirements of ISO standards and are designed to prevent accidental change of working direction. 72 high performance teeth give no more than 5 degrees of action angle, and last but not least these ratchets come with a direction indicator.

 

All Bahco hexagon and double hexagon sockets have the Dynamic Drive™ Profile to protect the nuts, screws, and tools from unnecessary wear and damage. The profile has rounded corners and additional flank areas that transmit torque onto the screw head or nut. The additional flank area moves pressure from the nut and screw corners to the sturdier side areas to give maximum load distribution and torque. The superiority of Bahco sockets is the result of exacting tolerances as well as very high resistance to wear.
