When you think of Bahco, you are thinking about professional tools. This is not surprising as they have been making tools for the professional since 1886. Included in Bahco’s extensive range of tools is a premium range of 3 bevel edged chisels and its classic wrecking knife.
These chisels feature precision ground blades for maximum sharpness which gives the Tradie superior chiseling power. The high alloyed steel blades are hardened and tempered for longer lasting performance, they are also thicker so they don’t bend easily. With proper care these chisels will be an important part of the toolbox for many years.
Bahco’s chisels are available in various sizes and feature a choice of handles that have been carefully engineered to satisfy the most demanding Tradie’s requirements, and each chisel comes with a protective holster which is free of charge.
At the top of the range is the Bahco 434. It features a splitproof polyamide handle which easily absorbs repeated hammer blows. Developed through Bahco’s scientific ERGO TM process, it is tailored for demanding carpentry and construction jobs. The two component handle fits comfortably in the hand and provides a non slip grip.
A specially designed safety guard with rounded shoulders further protects the hand from injury. The Swedish forged blade is precision ground for ultra sharpness and polished to resist rust. It is specifically hardened so that three quarters of its length can be ground down before it needs replacing. With proper care this ergonomic chisel will withstand many years of heavy use.
The 424P is a pleasure to use. The two component handle is so comfortable to hold that chiselling becomes much less of a chore, whilst maximising control and comfort. This tool meets the highest standard of performance and cutting power whilst minimising the risk of injury.
It also features a precision ground blade that allows for maximum sharpness, it is hardened and tempered for long lasting performance. The sturdy handle can withstand the occasional hammer blow, although a wooden mallet is recommended for ongoing use.
Bahco’s standard range has been a bestseller for years, and for good reason. The 1031 is the perfect jointing tool for the workshop. Its hardened blade has been ground and honed at optimal angles for an ideal edge.
It features a very tough red plastic compound, and has a full bevel pattern, which means the sides of the blades have been bevelled down to approximately half of the blades thickness. This chisel is ground, honed, and ready for use.
The Bahco wrecking knife is a heavy duty product made of impact resistant PPE with a blade hardened to 58 - 61 Hrc for a long, sharp life. It features a curved knuckle protector and therefore can be used as a lever for hard work. The back edge of the tool can be struck with a hammer to work faster. The wrecking knife can be used for making mortise joints in doors,splitting wood, and other applications.
